vSAS EFB Released

The vSAS EFB has been released and is now available to everyone

We are pleased to announce that the vSAS EFB is now officially released and available to all members. This project has been in development for about six months and represents a major step forward for the virtual airline experience at vSAS.

While the EFB is now released, development will continue, and additional improvements and features are already planned for future updates. We just don't feel like there's any point in making you wait any longer to try it for yourselves, as we believe the project is in good shape in its current state.

A special thank you goes to Vilgot for his hard work behind the scenes, focusing on design, user interface, and core development. A shoutout also goes to Tim for all the work he has put into the backend, particularly the performance calculator, and to the many others who have contributed throughout the project.

Finally, thank you to everyone who participated in beata testing over the last week. Your bug reports and feedback have helped us improve the platform and deliver a better experience at release. You can access the vSAS EFB here:

Note: EFB performance data is only for the A320neo at this time.

As many of you know, services such as the EFB come with ongoing hosting, infrastructure, and operational costs. Every time the platform is used, there are expenses associated with keeping it online, reliable, and continuously improving. The EFB will always remain free to use. However, if you would like to support the continued development and operation of the platform, any contribution is greatly appreciated, but never expected. You can support the project here and get vAMSYS points in return: https://virtualsas.net/donate

If you have any questions or want to chat about the EFB, please do so in our new category "vSAS EFB" located below the regular "vSAS" category in the Discord. We hope you enjoy using it and look forward to hearing your feedback as we continue to develop and improve the platform in the future.
